The Maintenance Team Member plays a crucial role in ensuring that Carr Family Restaurants operate smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of restaurant equipment and facilities, contributing to a great experience for both employees and customers.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on kitchen and restaurant equipment.
Troubleshoot and make minor repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems as needed.
Ensure all equipment is in working condition and report issues to management for further action.
Monitor and replace light bulbs, filters, and other essential components.
Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, including restrooms, dining areas, and exterior spaces.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment.
Properly dispose of waste, including grease disposal and recycling, in accordance with company policies.
Assist with deep-cleaning schedules, including floors, vents, and back-of-house areas.
Respond to emergency maintenance issues, such as leaks, power outages, or equipment malfunctions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Support management in maintaining a safe environment for customers and employees.
Keep track of maintenance supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Properly store tools and equipment to ensure accessibility and organization.

Prior experience in maintenance, custodial work, or general repairs preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and climbing ladders.
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including early mornings or late evenings, as needed.

Prior experience in maintenance, custodial work, or general repairs preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems is a plus.
