This is a part time role in maintenance, approximately 25 hours/week. The current shift is 6 am to 11 am, 5 days/week, Monday-Friday. Weekend shifts are occasionally needed. This position will be cross trained in other departments to occasionally assist where needed when maintenance tasks are complete. As other positions open in the store, this position may transition to a full time position that will be part time maintenance and part time deli, produce, stocking, or cashiering. STORE SPECIALIST ROLE The Maintenance Specialist is an independent worker who ensures we are meeting the needs of our our owners and customers and providing a clean and safe grocery store. Their productivity and contributions fuel our cooperative business mission and are critical to ensuring our store is a destination for healthy food and community well-being. Our Specialists are flexible, dependable, and adaptable to change. They are keen to learn every aspect of the natural foods business and can independently identify areas that need extra attention each day. Specialists are cross-trained to work anywhere in the store: from cashiering and stocking shelves, to prepping produce and serving deli customers. They take personal responsibility for their work.
