About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor, also known as the Asset Care Team Leader (ACTL), is a technical role responsible for executing both planned and unplanned maintenance work. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the ACTL is accountable for the efficient use of maintenance resources and materials, ensuring a well-trained maintenance workforce. The role emphasizes safe work practices and aims to remove obstacles that hinder effective maintenance execution.

Requirements

  • 4 year Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in Engineering or other Technical Field).
  • 5+ years manufacturing or maintenance supervision experience.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance experience.
  • Drive systems/transmissions experience.
  • Basic Controller/Processor, Industrial Electrical Wiring, Mechanical/Electrical Devices and Circuits experience.
  • Basic Drive Maintenance, Installations, troubleshooting experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environmental compliance on the crew they lead.
  • Ensure that all work has a clear, valid and complete work order with all specified approvals.
  • Attend daily Tier 1 meetings to understand the events of the last 24 hours.
  • Facilitate the Maintenance Tier 1 meeting and validate the Shift Report.
  • Report out at Production Tier 2 meeting with fellow team leads regarding maintenance.
  • Review all planned job packages for labor requirements, materials, parts, methods, permits, and priorities.
  • Distribute work orders and job plans to assigned personnel.
  • Work with the Planner/Schedulers to understand work order backlog and priorities.
  • Spend at least 60% of the shift on the floor engaging with Mechanics.
  • Control/Lead job execution including quality, duration, cost and thoroughness of all work.
  • Work with Production on changes impacting the schedule.
  • Control maintenance crew payroll, overtime, tardiness, and absenteeism.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures among maintenance team members.
  • Provide support and technical guidance for proper job execution.
  • Drive improved Changeover and Changeover parts management.
  • Ensure accurate distribution of time and materials to specific jobs.
  • Promote good housekeeping and safe work practices.
  • Own specific Equipment Centers continuous improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
  • Support innovation initiatives throughout the site bottling halls.
  • Lead safety awareness and information sharing meetings.
  • Drive crew engagement.
  • Devote time to On-The-Job training and observation of skills.
  • Provide training to Mechanics regarding SAP.
  • Develop and maintain individual Development Plans and conduct regular feedback sessions.
  • Develop Mechanic core competencies in Plant Utilities.
  • Be a Continuous Learner.
