About The Position

The Maintenance Team Lead will ensure continuous support for Operations, Environmental, Health and Safety and facility needs. They will manage the daily tasks and work-order assignments of the maintenance team and report to the Facilities Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous experience supervising hourly personnel.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Ability to climb in overhead structures, work beneath machines and in close quarters to perform necessary work.
  • Ability to obtain a Fork truck license.
  • Ability to use various tools for construction and adjustments of facilities and production equipment.
  • Experience in any of the following areas is preferred: Electronic, Electrical, HVAC, PLC, Hydro-pneumatic, Plumbing.
  • Valid MA or NH driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical devices and systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all facilities and production equipment.
  • Provide ongoing, continuous, quick response to organizational facility needs.
  • Notify Facilities Manager of recurring equipment malfunctions and potential electrical/mechanical hazards.
  • Set the example for safety, productivity and teamwork for the maintenance team.
  • Ensure OSHA safety compliance is maintained and documented.
  • Make continuous improvement suggestions.
  • Be on call after hours for emergency repairs.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
  • May be part of a mechanical team on major installations.
  • Assign work instructions to the maintenance team.
  • Work from work orders, verbal requests, preventative maintenance schedules, manuals and other documentation.
