Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine We are searching for the best talent for a Maintenance Systems Lead position based in Spring House or Malvern Pennsylvania. This position is a key component of the Maintenance Team, which is part of the Site Engineering team, which is the asset-management team consisting of Automation, Engineering, and Maintenance for clinical labs, GxP warehouse operations, cell banking, and other GxP labs in Springhouse and Malvern, PA. Maintenance is responsible for maintaining the reliability of manufacturing assets and utilities through preventive, corrective and calibration work-orders, and parts storeroom management. The primary work location is in Springhouse, PA, supporting the project and future operation and asset-management of the CAR-T clinical lab. As the CAR-T clinical lab transitions from project to base-business, this role will transition to multi-site Malvern and Springhouse support.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of CMMS master data processing
  • At least 3 years or warehouse or parts stockroom experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOP’s, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to utilize various standard office programs for data entry and word processing.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing or lab equipment and systems, with solid experience in GxPs, FDA regulations, SAP
  • Advanced knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP preferred) and best practices
  • Influencing skills, partnering and collaboration skills, analytical skills and excellent oral and written presentation skills are required, with a demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • This position will support the Project Team as the end user / owner of the maintenance systems.
  • Working for the Reliability & Systems Manager and with the Site Engineering Lead and a contractor support team, develop and be responsible for the SAP Master Data and Storeroom program on time and meeting all objectives of the project, while preparing the Springhouse clinical operation for S4Hana.
  • Ensure projects and tasks stay on target through internal resourcing and removing obstacles, which may involve communication at a senior level within the business.
  • Act as the central point of contact for SAP-PM CMMS at Springhouse and be accountable for the creation of SAP assets master data, working with a team of Site Engineering staff, contractors, and the Project team.
  • Responsibilities include Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on SAP CMMS, storeroom operations, customer relationship management, supplier relationship management, contracts and EHS Compliance as it relates to storeroom operations.
  • Primarily responsible for the Spare Parts Storeroom program, under direction of the Site Engineering Lead and Reliability and Systems Manager.
  • This includes input to the storeroom space design, and processed to receive, inspect, put-away, distribute, kit/assemble, cycle count, obtain quotes, order, process master data in SAP.
  • Be the principal contact for the warehouse to the site and operations for parts questions and operational improvements.
  • Interact with all collaborators (project team, OEMs, maintenance technicians, automation engineers, lab operations, QA, QC) to identify new master data, changes to existing master data.
  • Lead the creation and execution of user training within CMMS, SAP.
  • Support transition into SAP 4HANA at the site by providing training and other education, tactical, logistical and technical support at the site and across J&J as part of implementation of LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement in asset information systems.
  • Responsibilities also include - Work with outside vendors/service providers operations, maintenance, engineering, quality and validation to institutionalize the Work Planning and Control Process and guidelines are supported by asset information systems.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and Key Performance Indicators with mentorship from leadership.
  • Supports the organization of incoming and outgoing materials for verification against shipping documentation.
  • Ensure that reviews of work order necessary parts are identified done and staged correctly so that they can be delivered to user department
  • Verifies that all inventory and receiving transactions are registered in the system to ensure up-to-date availability of information to end-users as well as timely payment to suppliers
  • Lead all aspects of the generation of inventory reports and reviews the compiled list of shortages, expired products and other issues for management and reordering.
  • Ensures all shipping documentation / inspection records are filed properly and correctly updated in the system.
  • Supervise all inventory and receiving transactions in the system to ensure up-to-date availability of information to end-users as well as timely payment to suppliers
  • Work with Equipment OEM’s and suppliers to identify and resolve stock issues.
  • Support inventory audits, compiles and submits audit data to management/lead
