Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Active Driver's license
  • Previous CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience or similar database systems
  • 1+years experience in administrative role with a strong emphasis on ordering parts and/or inventory management
  • 1+years experience in CMMS entry and management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Typing, sitting, walking, frequent lifting (up to 50lbs), bending, twisting, climbing, and frequent standing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintenance inventory management, ordering parts, scheduling PMs, entering PMs, completing PMs, and organizational tasks.
  • Set up and maintain stock levels for repair/maintenance parts, including descriptions, pricing, stock, and location for all repair parts.
  • Receive parts and assist with the offloading of delivery vehicles.
  • Receive all parts ordered into the computer system and match all the paperwork against the purchase order.
  • Contact vendors as needed to obtain price quotas, follow up on parts orders and set up service requests.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts regularly and create reports as requested for Plant Management, analyzing parts usage, total costs, and noting relevant trends in the data.
  • Pick up specific parts and items when needed immediately to avoid downtime.
  • Improve and maintain parts inventory Master Data in CMMS.
  • Train and coach maintenance team members on CMMS usage, scheduling processes, and storeroom procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
