Requirements

  • Ability to perform dust mopping.
  • Ability to perform wet mopping.
  • Ability to collect garbage.
  • Ability to perform laundry (as needed).
  • Ability to dust for cobwebs as needed.
  • Ability to clean trash containers as needed.
  • Ability to scrub restrooms on part-time days (when assigned).
  • Ability to clean doors, windows, and other surfaces as needed.
  • Ability to perform all other assigned housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the upkeep of maintenance items across all buildings and grounds.
  • Perform trimming and mowing of grounds as needed.
  • Execute painting tasks as required.
  • Replace light bulbs and similar items as necessary.
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks.
  • Transport vehicles for repairs, fueling, and inspections in Springfield.
  • Inspect and replace furnace filters as needed.
  • Complete all assigned monthly paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Maintain buildings in a state suitable for inspections.
  • Willingness to work early morning hours for snow removal.
  • Ability to shovel snow.
  • Willingness to work some weekends (as needed).
  • Responsible for completing yearly training in a timely manner.
  • Complete all assigned monthly items in a timely manner.

Benefits

  • Full Time work schedule; standard work week is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with occasional overtime/weekend work required.
  • Onsite work in Vista Care locations.
