About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Support Specialist responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing building systems and equipment across the park. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily operations by ensuring all facilities—including attractions, food & beverage outlets, retail areas, offices, and common space remain safe, functional, and guest-ready. Dezerland Park Orlando is more than Florida’s largest indoor attraction, a dynamic environment where families, friends, and teammates come together to create unforgettable experiences. With over 800,000 square feet of attractions, including a gel blaster arena, axe-throwing, arcade games, and one of the world’s largest auto museums, our team is at the heart of delivering fun, safe, and memorable moments.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, and installation of building systems required
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions
Good verbal communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and operate tools and equipment
Frequent reaching, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working at heights
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move objects up to 100 lbs
Comfortable working in a variety of indoor conditions and environments
Flexible availability required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

Experience in commercial or large-scale facility maintenance preferred
Technical or trade school training is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment, including power distribution components, lighting systems, motors, fans, controls, and related infrastructure.
Install, maintain, inspect, and repair wiring, lighting fixtures, panels, and control systems across the facility.
Troubleshoot issues affecting attractions, lighting, and overall building functionality.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency service calls to minimize downtime.
Assist with system setup and support for new installations, remodels, and seasonal attractions.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards, company policies, and applicable codes.
Identify potential hazards and proactively recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Provide support and technical guidance to other maintenance team members as needed.
Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as assigned, supporting overall park operations.
Additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs.
Team members are expected to support other areas of the park when necessary.
