About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor at Pursuit Aerospace is responsible for leading and overseeing the maintenance team at the Thomasville, GA facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment and systems in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, process-oriented, and possess strong leadership skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including CNC equipment.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a high-demand environment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing or other highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, including assigning tasks, managing schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and improve operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and oversee repairs of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including CNC machinery and other production equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members to build technical skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to prioritize maintenance activities and support production goals.
  • Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, including parts inventory and equipment procurement.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
