About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor at Givaudan is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing maintenance activities to support manufacturing strategies. This role involves leading a team of maintenance specialists, optimizing equipment reliability, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality policies. The position is based in Carol Stream, IL, and reports to the NOAM Head of Manufacturing.

Requirements

• Vocational Degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing with people management experience required.
• Plant Engineering or Maintenance certification preferred.
• Experience in the flavor, ingredient, or fragrance manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize maintenance activities to support manufacturing strategies.
• Provide input to the local maintenance plan and related goals.
• Implement functional strategies through deployment of operational plans.
• Lead a team of maintenance specialists executing maintenance activities.
• Apply preventive maintenance plans to optimize equipment availability and reliability.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS and QM policies.
• Identify and recommend improvements to optimize productivity.
• Optimize stock of spare parts and manage disposal of obsolete materials.
• Coordinate work of suppliers and monitor their performance.
• Support engineering projects with operative procedures and equipment trials.
• Oversee annual human resources processes for the local maintenance team.
