The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance personnel responsible for repairing and maintaining mechanical, air, electrical, and hydraulic components of various equipment, including processing, blowmolding, filling, and material handling machinery. This role involves following blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications, and utilizing hand tools, power tools, welders, and precision measuring instruments. The supervisor will direct personnel in visually inspecting and troubleshooting malfunctions, dismantling equipment, inspecting and measuring parts for wear or misalignment, replacing defective parts, re-aligning components, and installing new piping. The supervisor must also be capable of performing these tasks independently. Additionally, the supervisor will oversee testing equipment after repair, repairing broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment, and may modify computer-controlled functions on various equipment.
