The role involves leading a team, implementing maintenance schedules, handling emergency repairs, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. As an Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Requirements

High school diploma or GED ; technical certification, vocational training, or associate’s degree in mechanical/electrical systems preferred (Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA safety, HVAC, electrical) are a plus )
Proven experience in maintenance supervision, facilities management, or related field
Medium to high physical activity may be , including site inspections and repairs. Occasional evening or weekend callouts for emergency maintenance.
Strong leadership and management skills for overseeing teams and operational processes.
Excellent problem-solving abilities to address unexpected issues and technical complications.
Solid technical knowledge of building systems, equipment operations, and maintenance procedures.
Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to interact with technical and non-technical staff.
Familiarity with budgeting, planning, and managing inventory.
Competence with computer systems and maintenance management software.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise daily building or mechanical systems maintenance operations.
Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for facilities and equipment
Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify needed maintenance and repairs
Recruit, supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians and trades staff
Delegate and review tasks; ensure work is completed in a timely and safe manner
Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and supplies
Respond promptly to emergency repair situations; ensure all applicable safety procedures are followed
Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment servicing
Working in facilities, industrial, or commercial buildings
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant health and safety regulations
