About The Position

The Collier Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor! This is an on-site role, reporting from one of The Collier Companies’ community offices in Tallahassee, which offers over 700 miles of trails, a subtropical climate, and incredible opportunities to immerse yourself in Florida’s rich history, new commercial opportunities, and family-friendly attractions. It is home to Florida State University and Florida A&M University. Tallahassee is in the top ten best places to live in Florida. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will support and manage the maintenance team in ensuring that the physical aspects of the property meet The Collier Company’s established standards. The Supervisor is an expert at trouble shooting, diagnosing problems, and making solutions with a customer service attitude.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance/Service Manager or equivalent supervisory position.
• Self-starter who has a strong eye for detail
• Ability to recruit new vendors and establish long-term relationships with new and current.
• Extremely organized and detail orientated.
• Commitment to Emergency-On-Call (EOC) participation is a requirement.
• Proven track record of excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize.
• This is a full-time position that consists of emergency on-call commitment and overtime commitment in Summer/Fall turn season.
• Background checks are an employment requirement.

Nice To Haves

• Conventional experience a plus!
• Experience with using Entrata Property Management Software is a plus!
• EPA certified and strong HVAC skill set is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repairs in areas such as HVAC (if applicable), electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural and appliances.
