About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the physical upkeep of the community and supervising maintenance technicians. This role includes maintaining and operating all mechanical equipment, excluding those specifically designated for contract repair and service. The supervisor is essential in guiding the team on service requests, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring that all maintenance duties are performed efficiently by all team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable apartment maintenance or hotel industry experience
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in guiding your team on service requests and delegating tasks effectively.
• Ensure that all maintenance duties are performed efficiently by all team members.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas to identify and address needed preventative maintenance.
• Ensure that the buildings and common areas are clean and the grounds are properly maintained.
• Identify and mitigate current and potential safety hazards.
• Maintain stock to ensure parts are on hand to complete timely work orders.
• Perform necessary maintenance and repairs in units as specified in work orders.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy in accordance with company guidelines.
• Utilize a cell phone to complete work orders using the RealPage application.
