We’re looking for a dedicated 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor to take charge of facility and equipment upkeep, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. Under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, you’ll oversee the implementation of a preventative maintenance program and handle ongoing repairs for the facility, vehicles, production equipment, and more. Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of two years of formal maintenance lead or supervisory training
  • Experience working in heavy manufacturing environment required, foundry experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams, with strong potential for growth and leadership development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example with top-notch safety practices and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Foster a positive work culture, treating all employees with respect and professionalism.
  • Consistently exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.
  • Champion environmentally responsible operations by supporting sustainable practices.
  • Oversee and coordinate shift operations for the Maintenance department to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity, including the development of an effective preventive maintenance program.
  • Ensure high-quality repairs, proper scheduling, and timely diagnosis of equipment issues, collaborating with production teams for optimal timing.
  • Plan and assign work to maximize efficiency, utilizing labor, materials, and equipment effectively while providing hands-on guidance during shift operations.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor employees, ensuring a strong workforce to meet both short- and long-term goals. Regularly evaluate performance and offer coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Quickly analyze and address equipment issues or production delays to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
  • Promote open communication, addressing employee concerns to boost morale.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe, productive work environment.
  • Stay informed on new operational methods and technologies that can improve quality, efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Maintain strong communication across shifts and departments to ensure smooth, coordinated operations.
  • Secure proper tools and materials for tasks and proactively suggest solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Approach tasks with a positive, team-oriented attitude and be ready to take on additional assignments as needed.
