This individual will have a proven record of defining, conceptualizing and implementing lean projects across a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required, associate degree or trade certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field required, four-year degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, 3 years of lean and change management experience and at least 5 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Experience using CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, machine manuals, and electrical schematics.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred: forklift certification a plus.
  • Certifications and training in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and identify inefficiencies in manufacturing processes, deploying Lean methodologies to enhance safety, quality and productivity.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Establish Maintenance KPIs (Schedule Compliance, PMP, OEE MTTR and MTBF or others).
  • Utilize the CMMS for all Maintenance Department tracking and reporting, analyzing data to identify trends, root causes of issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and external vendors for all for repairs, upgrades, production floor layouts and capital improvement projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance technicians across CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, warehouse, and office areas.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of CNC machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, forklifts, conveyors, HVAC, and other mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Ensure all maintenance employees are trained and all work is performed safely and in compliance with both OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and critical spare parts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in analyzing and identify inefficiencies in manufacturing processes, deploying Lean methodologies to enhance safety, quality and productivity.
  • Train and support maintenance staff, including fostering a change management culture, consisting of formal and informal training and development in both the technical and behavioral realm.
