About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily maintenance operations of a high-rise residential building. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-focused, and deeply committed to the care, functionality, and appearance of the property. This role requires both strong leadership skills and the ability to perform physical maintenance work alongside the team.

Requirements

• High-rise maintenance experience is required
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and repairs
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and code compliance
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a maintenance team
• Ability and willingness to perform physical maintenance work daily
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to act quickly in emergency situations
• Must live within 15 minutes of the property to ensure rapid emergency response
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and proactive mindset
• Must pass a drug screening and back ground check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and lead the maintenance team while actively participating in daily maintenance tasks
• Perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general carpentry
• Ensure the high-rise building is well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently at all times
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, including after-hours incidents
• Conduct routine inspections of the building and grounds to identify issues before they escalate
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, local codes, and all safety regulations
• Coordinate and oversee vendors, contractors, and inspections as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, schedules, and compliance documentation
• Communicate effectively with property management regarding building conditions, needs, and emergencies
• Take ownership of the building’s overall condition and demonstrate pride in its upkeep
