Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of multifamily Maintenance experience
  • Strong HVAC knowledge with EPA Certification (Type II or Universal required)
  • Proficiency in general apartment maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry)
  • Ability to participate in after-hours/on-call rotation
  • Basic hand tools and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking property grounds and working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance of all buildings, grounds, and amenities
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Complete and supervise service requests and apartment make-readies
  • Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance calls as needed
  • Assist with interviewing, training, and supervising maintenance team members
  • Manage maintenance inventory and assist with budget oversight
  • Coordinate and supervise vendors and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing regulations
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents and staff
