About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, supervision and accountability working with the maintenance personnel to manage proper and timely installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of all machinery/equipment as well as building systems and grounds maintenance.

Requirements

  • Computer skills using Office suite of programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook.
  • Ability to organize equipment information into useful and value add recommendations for improvements
  • Communication effective to verbally provide clear expectations and task details, as well as written through email for intercompany purposes or outside contractor/vendor purposes.
  • Understanding of financial terms and process to accurately and dependably be mindful of budgeting and cost management.
  • Complex or multitask situations providing good judgement towards best solution to meet both equipment and labor demands.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the installation and repair of all machinery/equipment in conjunction with the day-to-day activities of maintenance technicians
  • Performs equipment and repair parts data entry and documentation management
  • Coordinates and implements predictive and preventative maintenance scheduling
  • Assists other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs, troubleshooting, contractor or supplier collaboration
  • Forward looking with production schedules to perform the planning and coordination of maintenance jobs and projects
  • May perform work order repairs, inspections or new installations as required.
  • Provide technical recommendations and implementation for continuous improvement in plant production processes
  • Collaborate with MRO, Plant Engineering Manager and key maintenance staff to ensure CMMS system is utilized to provide value add documentation, inventory control, repair or asset documentation.
  • Maintain safety awareness & documentation for department personnel.
  • Ensure documentation and regulations followed for environmental equipment
  • Assist with hiring new personnel, discipline as required for performance or violation of company policy, as well as training and development of personnel skill sets.
