About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor coordinates, plans, supports, and supervises in the Maintenance Shop to ensure that preventative maintenance is performed on plant equipment. This role may involve repairing machinery, plant utilities (electrical, plumbing, etc.), and company-owned trailers. This is an Onsite position at the Tindall Conley, GA facility. All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and the production of high-quality products.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
5 years of Maintenance experience or related experience is required.

Nice To Haves

Vocation or Technical Education is preferred.
2 to 5 years of similar supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assign preventative maintenance duties and assign equipment repair requests to Maintenance Mechanics.
Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair schedules for company owned trailers.
Respond to requests by BDS Foremen for emergency repairs to equipment (flat tires, electrical problems, forklift repair issues, etc.).
Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with company safety rules and OSHA regulations.
Plan, supervise, and complete special projects as requested by Plant Manager or Maintenance Superintendent.
Inspect and repair plumbing fixtures, electrical wire, and heating/air conditioning units.
Contact vendors or sales representatives for emergency replacement of critical machinery parts.
