About The Position

With locations in Pittsburgh PA and Kutztown PA, McConway and Torley, LLC has been in continuous operations since 1869, the same year the first US transcontinental railroad was completed. We are actively seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership of your team of 6-10 maintenance staff, to ensure we are keeping the plant running effectively and efficiently. Your team will be responsible for minimizing production downtime, and fixing facility issues. Location: Pittsburgh, PA Shift: Weekend, Daylight, 10 Hour Shifts Friday - Monday

Requirements

At least 5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
High School Diploma is required
Some leadership experience required
Must have the ability to function and communicate in a team setting
Must be punctual, predictable, and have regular attendance
Must be able to stand for long durations
Must be tolerant to extreme temperatures
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must have a good attitude and be adaptable to changes

Nice To Haves

Bachelors or Associates degree is preferred

Responsibilities

Maintaining the safe operation of all equipment and building infrastructure
Ensuring equipment is maintained to comply with all environmental and health and safety requirements
Ensure regulatory compliance with NFPA-70E (Arc Flash) for all maintenance activities for your crew
Assist in the hiring of maintenance personnel
Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions
Implement programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness and accompanying 6S levels
Track, analyze and improve key maintenance performances indices including asset utilization, up time, PM compliance, etc.
Prepare reports, analyze data and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems
Communicate regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication for maintenance issues
Develop and maintain a working relationship with all departments and management ensuring an ongoing connection with production teams; coordinate directly with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in production areas
