About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and oversee all phases of manufacturing, processing, and packaging machinery, as well as facility maintenance operations. This role ensures equipment is maintained and repaired efficiently while supporting a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
10+ years in maintenance and staff management, preferably in the food industry.
General knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, machine building, PLCs, and community codes.
Proficiency with CMMS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to work at extended heights and on elevated platforms.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of processing, packaging, and facility equipment, including supervising technicians, fabricators, and building maintenance personnel.
Oversee hiring, training, daily supervision, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions for maintenance staff.
Prepare and manage work schedules, maintenance plans, and staffing assignments to meet operational needs.
Plan and monitor preventive maintenance and repair schedules using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Recommend improvements to reduce downtime, labor costs, and overtime expenses.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations; provide safety training as needed.
Manage equipment purchasing and contract services in collaboration with the purchasing department.
Monitor maintenance costs and manage annual budgets.
Support food safety and quality standards, including GMP, HACCP/FSMA, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
Foster a culture of safety by practicing safe work behaviors, reporting hazards, and conducting safety observations.
