Habitat America, LLC, a third party property management company in Northwest, DC is looking to hire a qualified Maintenance Supervisor for Faircliff Plaza. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus! Applicants who are qualified for this position have 3+ years prior apartment maintenance experience. Intermediate to advanced experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair. HVAC & CFC certifications are a plus! Experience with split system HVAC units is highly desired. This position is responsible for all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance. In addition to technical maintenance tickets, this position will assist with unit turnovers and be part of the after-hours on-call rotation. Energetic, self-motivated individual who is able to work as a team Intermediate to advanced experience with apartment maintenance; appliance troubleshooting, drywall, and painting HVAC/CFC Certification is preferred Experience with split system HVAC units is highly desired. Must be able to understand and oversee work performed by contractors Must have a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times Must have reliable transportation to get to work and respond to on-call emergencies The ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation Bilingual - Spanish - is a plus!
