Requirements

  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience in a union setting
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment and maintenance best practices
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance systems
  • Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated history of being a motivated team player working with a high level of accountability and follow through

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in high-volume or continuous manufacturing
  • Lean, Total Preventative Maintenance, or reliability-based maintenance experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of skilled trades group
  • Assign work, manage overtime and shift coverage, and support staffing needs in accordance with company policies
  • Support and improve preventive maintenance programs to increase equipment reliability
  • Ensure employees have appropriate training, work instructions, and tools to perform job
  • Partner with production and engineering teams to support manufacturing goals
  • Utilize SAP functionality to track work orders, labor, and equipment history
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable work environment
  • Work collaboratively across shifts with members of the maintenance team
