About The Position

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and repair of communications and electronic systems that support the U.S. Navy’s telecommunications infrastructure. This critical role ensures compliance with Navy technical standards and maintains operational readiness in a high-tempo, mission-critical environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications or electronic systems maintenance.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead.
  • Strong understanding of Navy maintenance programs and telecommunications systems.
  • Skilled in equipment lifecycle management and Navy technical procedures.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills under tight deadlines.
  • Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Completion of Navy 3-M System PQS (NAVEDTRA 43241-H) within 3 months of hire: 3M 301 – Maintenance Person 3M 303 – Work Center Supervisor
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and execute corrective maintenance on High Frequency Global Communications System (HFGCS) equipment per AF T.O. 31R2-2GRC244-1(series).
  • Perform preventive maintenance and field modifications in accordance with NAVSEAINST 4790.8 (series).
  • Document and track all maintenance activities within the Navy Maintenance and Material Management (3-M) System.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with government representatives and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Conduct Maintenance Spot Checks and Self-Monitored Assessments to ensure quality and readiness.
  • Manage test equipment inventory and calibration schedules.
  • Oversee setup and movement of materials, equipment, and work sites.
  • Ensure compliance with Navy safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to team members.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support mission objectives.
