About The Position

Filterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily maintenance operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring that all equipment, machinery and systems operate safely and efficiently to support high-volume air filter production. This role supervises maintenance technicians, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance, drives continuous improvement in equipment reliability and facility upkeep. This role will report to the Plant Manager at our Ogden location.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, automated machinery, and preventive maintenance systems.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work Mon 6am-4pm, Tues 8am-4:30pm,Wed-Thurs 7am-3:30pm, Fri 7am-2pm(ability to flex as needed)
  • Weekends or on-call, as needed
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including occasional international trips to Canada.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Comfortable working around machinery, on ladders, and in varying temperature conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and schedule team of maintenance technicians across shifts.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance management for maintenance staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee installation troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production equipment (cutters, pleaters, conveyors, gluing machines, compressors, HVAC systems, etc.).
  • Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate vendor relationships for repairs and supplies.
  • Ensure the facility is safe, clean, and in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to minimize equipment downtime and meet output goals.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and provide root cause analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and process efficiency initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
  • Track maintenance KPIs such as downtime, repair completion time, and cost savings.
  • Assist in budget planning for maintenance expenses, tools, and capital projects.
  • Attend all maintenance Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) and maintenance-related meetings.
  • Prepare and complete all required documentation in advance of these meetings.
  • Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with the Head of Maintenance.
