The team this position supports will consist of 6 to 10 multi-craft industrial mechanics and student mechanics on 2nd and 3rd shift. Days/Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM Growth and development are important aspects of this position. Primary Responsibilities This position will lead and supervise Maintenance Technicians to achieve established maintenance goals consistent with standards of quality, safety, labor efficiency, and workplace organization.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises maintenance technicians to achieve established maintenance goals consistent with standards of quality, safety, labor efficiency, and workplace organization.
• Supports the production activities by maintaining the production equipment and provides assistance to maintain the facility systems.
• Promote a customer service focus for the Maintenance team.
• Manages the educational pay program for all maintenance technicians.
• Partners with manufacturing engineering team to lead preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Participates in product support teams to improve equipment uptime.
• Create or check purchase requisitions, makes sure parts are ordered, check status of delivery, and check delivered items.
• Supports the MRO Stockroom with parts inventory management.
• Manages applicable budgets for equipment repairs, parts, and supplies.
• Trouble shoot problems that arise on the production floor throughout the day.
• Communicates the need for any follow up work to all shifts as required.
• Prioritize work orders and delegates responsibilities for work orders.
• Utilizes corporate CMMS program to measure team performance working towards "World Class Maintenance" status.
• Provides safety training for the maintenance team in compliance with OSHA and corporate safety program requirements.
• Provide communication for equipment repair status updates to manufacturing.
• Coordinates equipment manufacturer representatives to conduct repairs and major PMs.
• Has daily contact with all hourly employees within assigned area and plant management.
• Supports weekly meetings with the Maintenance team to keep open communication and discuss Maintenance KPIs.
