As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the Maintenance Department to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all plant equipment and facilities. You will guide daily maintenance activities, support Environmental Health and Safety and Food Safety and Quality Risk Assessment compliance, and champion preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance production performance. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Lead, coach, train, and develop Maintenance Technicians to achieve department goals. Promote and co-manage safety programs across the Maintenance Department. Promote and co-manage Food Safety and Quality Risk Assessment and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements across the Maintenance Department. Understand the maintenance operating budget and ensure adherence. Maintain familiarity with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and ensure compliance with operational permits. Oversee the execution and timely completion of all maintenance work. Oversee contractor services supporting maintenance activities. Understand material and parts management expectations within the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations storeroom and ensure adherence. Review and ensure accurate documentation of work orders by Maintenance Technicians. Review and “TECO” work orders in SAP as required. Implement and sustain 5S activities to maintain organized and clean Maintenance areas. Manage Maintenance Department performance metrics as required. Lead or participate in equipment failure root cause analysis activities. Lead or participate in the development and improvement of preventive maintenance procedures. Understand priority maintenance losses and lead or participate in creating and executing action plans to eliminate losses. Lead or participate in continuous improvement activities in partnership with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency. Use SAP in alignment with Conagra SAP standards. Ingredients Required for Your Success High school diploma or GED; Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or another technical field preferred. Three to five years of maintenance experience preferred. Previous supervisory experience required. Skilled in reading and interpreting safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Skilled in writing reports and correspondence. Skilled in presenting information to groups of customers or employees. Skilled in calculating figures. Skilled in applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Skilled in solving practical problems and working with different variables in situations with limited standardization. Skilled in interpreting instructions delivered in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Knowledge and experience with preventive maintenance programs. Knowledge of electronic and electrical principles. Experienced in writing employee appraisals, evaluations, maintenance procedures, and job descriptions. Proficient using computers. Computer-aided design and drafting experience desirable. Physical Requirements More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary. Compensation Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
