The Residential Maintenance Supervisor oversees general maintenance of Park Place and Paramount in NW DC, approximately 200 units in total, relating to plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC units and preventative maintenance. This position has supervisor responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain curb appeal, including the conditions and appearance of the property
  • Point out all safety hazards to Property Manager and implement repairs
  • Supervise staff responsible for the refurbishment of vacancies, minimizing turnaround time on vacant units
  • Prioritize, assign, follow up and submit to the rental office all service requests
  • Implement the company's Preventive Maintenance Program
  • Control maintenance expenditures
  • Take appropriate action in response to inspection reports
  • Proper maintenance and use of truck, if applicable, and equipment
  • Report to the Property Manager daily concerning completed work or pending work
  • Maintain shops, storage areas, etc. in a neat and organized way
  • Perform cleaning function as required by the Property Manager.
  • Promptly report to Manager any conditions requiring maintenance or cleaning that you observe
  • Be available for after hours and weekends in the event of an emergency or to back up the on call technician
  • Carry the issued cell phone at all times. It is the Maintenance Supervisor's responsibility to ensure that batteries are recharged
  • Keep walkways free of snow and ice as required by the Property Manager
  • Supervise the inspection of buildings daily for life and safety issues as well as regular maintenance
  • Excellent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position

  • The market-based pay range for this role is $36.00-$46.00 per hour (plus additional bonus incentives). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
