About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will lead a talented group of maintenance professionals in keeping all aspects of the facility and manufacturing equipment operational. You will manage our internal maintenance workforce and contractors to support equipment preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, facility maintenance and equipment/infrastructure upgrades through a systemic approach in our CMMS. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing required.
  • 3+ years of management experience, preferably in a Maintenance/Facilities.
  • U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance.
  • Understanding of maintenance concepts such as reactive, preventive, autonomous etc and how to drive that through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Sufficiently computer literate to manage team workload through the CMMS, as well as navigate and understand the inter-dependencies between different portions of the CMMS (e.g. assets, PMs, work-orders, spare parts etc).
  • Motivated, self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks while keeping projects on time and under budget; able to deal with high paced and sometimes stressful task load.

  • Ability to estimate labor and material cost for projects as well as timelines

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a highly engaged team of maintenance professionals; ensure they have what they need to be successful; supervise their daily activities; and keep them safe.
  • Create and sustain a culture aligned with our "Great Place to Work" values by role-modeling behaviors, motivating, and recognizing team contributions.
  • Drive a systemic approach to maintenance through Daily Management and extensive use of the CMMS, Maintenance Connection; maintain equipment uptime, execute preventative maintenance and track efficiency. Identifying gaps in our CMMS and systemically close them.
  • Partner with production teams to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade equipment to achieve peak operational performance and deliver high quality aerospace transparencies on time to customers.
  • Collaborate with the safety team to identify, reduce, and eliminate safety risks throughout the facility.
  • Communicate daily facility and equipment status with production leadership and ensure transparency of priorities, progress, and risks.
  • Assist in facility projects for installing new equipment and upgrading existing equipment.
