Maintenance Supervisor - Powertrain Lab Operations JLL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure proper operation of process equipment and central systems supporting Powertrain Lab and site operations. This role executes critical functions within our Facility Management program, managing building systems and equipment maintenance for automotive manufacturing operations.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise JLL Maintenance Technicians, UAW Trades (Electrician, HVAC, Machine Repair, Millwright, Pipefitter), and third-party housekeeping personnel
  • Manufacturing Process Equipment: Manage tank farm operations, bulk fluid dispensing, compressed gas systems, regenerative thermal oxidizers, oil mist collectors, thermal units, and Class 7 clean room operations
  • Systems Management: Oversee HVAC/R systems, building automation, power systems (normal and emergency), preventative/predictive maintenance programs, and utility systems
  • Technical Operations: Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical systems including pumps, motors, hydraulics, and controller programs (JCI, Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens)
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure OSHA compliance, manage HAZMAT protocols, environmental compliance initiatives, waste removal, and emergency response procedures
  • Performance Management: Execute timely PPS/downtime reporting, maintain PM completion rates, coordinate employee scheduling, and manage spare parts inventory
  • Daily Operations: Execute environmental/safety PMs, coordinate equipment availability with operations, respond to work orders, manage fuel/span gas verifications, and participate in GMS/BPD requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years facility management and automotive manufacturing or industrial experience
  • Strong written/verbal communication and attention to detail
  • Extensive Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
  • Ability to read electrical prints and blueprints
  • Experience with pumps, motors, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of maintenance management systems
  • Associate or bachelor's degree (advanced degree a plus)
  • Controller programming experience (JCI, Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens)
  • MAXIMO/CORRIGO system experience
  • Clean room operations experience
  • Compressed gas and bulk fluid system knowledge
  • Building automation systems experience
  • ISO compliance background
  • Automotive manufacturing environment experience
