Position Summary: The Weekend Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading maintenance operations during weekend shifts, with a primary focus on preventative maintenance of production and facility equipment. This position oversees maintenance technicians during weekend production, ensures equipment reliability, and supports continuous operations by providing supervisory coverage as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years as a maintenance technician, or closely related role.
  • Strong working knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability principles.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and effectively manage maintenance personnel.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedules to provide coverage when required.
  • Must reside in the United States to be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience in a maintenance or industrial environment preferred.
  • An associate’s degree or relevant college certificate in a related field is preferred, along with hands-on experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians during weekend production shifts.
  • Lead and execute preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Monitor equipment performance and respond promptly to maintenance issues during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed in compliance with safety policies, standard operating procedures, and company standards.
  • Coordinate work assignments, prioritize tasks, and provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of preventative maintenance, repairs, and completed work orders.
  • Provide supervisory coverage during weekdays as needed, including coverage for other supervisors during absences due to vacation, illness, or other approved leave.
  • Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and other departments to support operational goals.
