Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 or more years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• 2 or more years of people leadership or supervisory experience
• Hands-on experience with assembly line machinery; PLC programming preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or 5S methodologies
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments and safely navigate stairs, ladders, and confined spaces
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence a proactive maintenance culture

Responsibilities

• Direct and support the maintenance workforce, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
• Oversee maintenance planning and scheduling in coordination with production, ensuring equipment availability meets production needs.
• Implement and champion proactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure maintenance staff are properly qualified, trained, and supported, while administering encouragement and discipline as needed.
• Enforce safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout all maintenance activities.
• Manage maintenance budgets, procurement of parts and supplies, and relationships with external vendors and contractors.
• Monitor and utilize the Maintain X Program to track maintenance activities and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain a strong, visible presence on the plant floor, collaborating with production and plant leadership to facilitate operator-performed maintenance and major overhauls.
• Requires occasional travel up to 10% for training purposes and to assist other plants as needed.
