The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to supervise all matters relating to the proper preventive maintenance, repairs, machinery and tools. Directly supervise employees in the Maintenance Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Also, provides support in the installation of new equipment and layouts. Safety Provide all resources needed to ensure that all MESH policies and procedures all performed by all personnel under his/her supervision. Develop employee Problem Solving Skills and establish metrics to monitor employee and area performance (area efficiency, utilization and equipment downtime) in terms of quality. Delivers process and manufacturing excellence. Work in close collaboration and partner with SCM, OPEX, Quality, HR, and Finance Teams to optimize overall operational efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for the execution of Continuous Improvement tools. Performs operation analysis to maximize flow in the areas and to assure the best use of resources to achieve total product cycle time goals and the highest level of productivity. Responsible for the implementation of CIF initiatives through the facility group. Manage the documentation of equipment repairs and inspection. Manage the preventive maintenance program. Assists in the development and implementation of ideas related the cost reduction program. Manage or assist to manage major construction projects or facilities expansions.
