This role may involve both office work and hands-on maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of various maintenance strategies, including manufacturing equipment, Hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a team of maintenance workers.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to plan and schedule maintenance work efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to liaise with team members, other departments, and external contractors.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues quickly and find practical solutions.
  • 3 years of manufacturing maintenance supervisor experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus
  • Experience in electronic maintenance programs

Responsibilities

  • Supervision: Manage and lead a team of maintenance workers, assigning tasks and ensuring that all maintenance operations are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the upkeep of facilities and equipment, including scheduling regular inspections and repairs.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical assistance and guidance to maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Budget Management: Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and ensure that all operations are conducted within financial constraints.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring that necessary materials are available for maintenance tasks.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly and effectively, coordinating with external contractors when necessary.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on maintenance activities, including completed tasks, ongoing projects, and any issues that arise.
