About The Position

You will supervise our maintenance department—managing a small team of technicians, overseeing maintenance operations, and handling purchasing for the department. Your job is to ensure equipment stays running, work gets completed properly, and your team performs. We use a maintenance management system to track work orders and preventive maintenance schedules. The system is already set up. You'll use it to manage workflow, monitor what's getting done, and keep leadership informed. THIS IS AN AI-FORWARD ROLE We're looking for someone who already uses AI tools in their daily work—and is excited about using them more. You'll have the freedom to leverage AI to work smarter: analyzing data, solving problems, drafting communications, streamlining workflows, and finding better ways to get things done. If you're the kind of person who's already experimenting with ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools to improve how you work, you'll fit right in. If you're waiting for someone to teach you AI, this isn't the role for you.

Requirements

  • Someone organized, responsible, and good with people—who also thinks like a problem-solver and reaches for AI tools when it makes sense. You'll need to manage a team, stay on top of multiple priorities, and ensure procedures get followed. We'll provide training on our systems and processes—what matters is that you're capable of learning quickly and taking ownership. This role requires someone comfortable holding people accountable. When work isn't getting done or standards aren't being met, you address it directly.
  • Active AI user: You already use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) regularly and are excited to use them more.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish): Our production team is Spanish-speaking. You must communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency: Comfortable with spreadsheets, reports, and basic data tracking.
  • Strong computer skills: Able to learn new software quickly.
  • Organized and detail-oriented: You track what needs to get done and follow through.
  • Comfortable managing people: You can assign work, give feedback, and address problems directly.
  • Authorized to work in the United States
