About The Position

This role involves executing the daily production schedule by utilizing people, material, machine, and processes to meet customer requirements, schedule compliance, and cost objectives. You will work collaboratively with other Team Leaders and employees to ensure production processes support the production plan and customer requirements. The position also entails assuring appropriate quality checks, PM’s, and audits are performed by operators to maintain product and process quality. Key responsibilities include employee job training, performance management, wage and contract administration, employee discipline, policy adherence, attendance and vacation scheduling, labor reporting, and inventory accuracy. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing improvements in throughput, cycle time, and inventory reduction, and coordinating process problems involving deviations from standard conditions.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in a maintenance role in manufacturing
  • Previous experience in a team leadership role of at least 3 years
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in dealing with all levels of organization
  • Understanding of Lean Principles and/or Six Sigma application and usage

Responsibilities
