Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills – Experience in managing, training, and motivating a maintenance team.
  • Technical expertise – Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
  • Problem-solving abilities – Able to handle emergencies and high-pressure situations confidently.
  • Dependability and flexibility – Available for emergency repairs when needed.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks – Able to climb up to 40 feet, lift heavy objects, distinguish colors, and work in various conditions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in facility maintenance
  • Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely

Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance team – Supervise and support a skilled crew across one or more communities.
  • Coordinate daily operations – Schedule tasks, ensure homes are ready to rent, oversee after-hours assignments, and complete service orders on time.
  • Stay on budget – Develop and follow maintenance budgets while monitoring spending.
  • Inspect and maintain the community – Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, conduct property inspections, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Foster strong relationships – Work with residents, team members, and vendors to create a well-maintained, welcoming environment.
  • Ensure compliance and safety – Follow policies and company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Tackle special projects – Assist with additional responsibilities and property improvements as needed.

  • 401K: Bridge Investment Group will match your contributions dollar-for-dollar, up to 6% of your pay. These contributions are fully vested immediately. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled at a 4% contribution rate. The employee must be at least 21 years of age and have worked for the Company for at least 60 days.
  • Paid Time Off: Employee will accrue 5.23 hours of paid time off per pay period for a total of 17 days per year.
  • 11 Paid Holidays per year.
  • Following six (6) months of employment at the Company, you will be eligible per birth, adoption or placement of a child for four (4) weeks of paid parental leave as the primary caregiver to the child or two weeks of paid parental leave as the secondary caregiver to the child. Following two years of employment at the Company, you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $5,000 per year of pre-approved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation. Repayment obligations may apply if employment terminates prior to 24 months.
