Job purpose A responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a maintenance department. Coordinate maintenance activities, manage teams, ensure equipment functionality, and support broader organizational goals like uptime, safety, and cost control. Involves planning, scheduling, and supervising maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Electrical Engineer degree/ Related trainings and experience (by different plants or external).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to read English and follow written procedures.
  • Ability to work off ground level with proper safety equipment.
  • Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment.
  • Ability to learn new skills.
  • Must be Team Oriented Person.
  • Proficiency-level computer skills including MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work from 10 PM - 6 AM.

Responsibilities

  • Directs workers, or assists in diagnosing malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces OSHA and company safety regulations.
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Prepare priorities for you and your team for the upcoming shift.
  • Communicate and coordinate important issues with the right team members to solve issues, including cross-functional partners, incoming shift team leaders, and department leadership.
  • Deliver on Key Performance Indicators for People, Quality, Safety, Service, and Cost.
  • Engage and develop core competencies in Associates through onboarding, training, coaching, and consistent performance feedback.
  • Achieve all safety goals.
  • Deliver safety awareness programs to eliminate unsafe acts and conditions that contribute to workplace injuries.
  • Comply with workplace standards, company policies and government regulations.
  • Lead the team of associates to serve sales by achieving production schedule attainment, KPIs for thruput and shipping on time, in full.
  • Ensure cost efficiency by reducing waste, decreasing downtime, generating productivity initiatives and overseeing appropriate staff scheduling.
