Maintenance Supervisor The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the preventive maintenance programs for the hospital’s buildings, repairs to equipment and plant operation system. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Minimum of four years work experience in overall maintenance and plant operators including mechanical systems, heating incinerators and air conditioning.
Sufficient experience and knowledge in supervision and management of people.
Years of experience determined by the quality of assignment and related to position responsibilities.
Skills in oral and written communication required.
Operates steam boiler, waste heat boiler-incinerator, all power tools, electrical and mechanical testing equipment as well as the ability to operate all electrical and mechanical equipment and systems for an overall Plant Service Operation.

Responsibilities

Supervises the maintenance of hospital buildings, repairs to equipment, exterior grounds and plant operation systems including:
Steam boiler systems including waste heat boiler.
Air compressor system.
Pneumatic tube system.
Medical gas system.
Vacuum and suction system.
Assist employees in trouble shooting plant operations and equipment.
Supervises and manages assigned supervisors and plant services employees including:
Counseling
Evaluations
Implementation of preventative maintenance.
Work schedules and shift assignments.
Conducts training programs for employees.
Supervises the requisitioning and purchasing of equipment, supplies and materials.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.
