The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations by leading a skilled team dedicated to equipment upkeep and process improvement. Through proactive maintenance practices and rapid response to equipment issues, this role directly supports optimal production uptime and minimizes costly disruptions. By fostering a culture of safety and accountability, the Supervisor helps protect both employees and assets, contributing to a secure and compliant work environment. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors enables continuous improvement and innovation in our maintenance strategies.

  • Lead and direct the mechanical maintenance team to perform preventive and predictive maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and optimal uptime.
  • Model and enforce safe work practices, inspecting jobs in advance and communicating risks to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, equipment checks, and service activities, ensuring compliance with audits and company standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to address equipment deficiencies and improve reliability.
  • Collaborate with planners to ensure all plant equipment is included in the PM program and to identify workflow improvements.
  • Oversee substantial projects and assignments, providing direction and allocating resources as needed.
  • Engage and coordinate with outside vendors to resolve significant maintenance issues and drive equipment improvements.
  • Communicate openly with manufacturing, engineering, and process control teams to address operational needs and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Perform performance management activities, including quarterly one-on-one interviews and annual appraisals for team members, while recommending cost savings and process improvements.
  • Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a maintenance leadership role, leading hourly maintenance team members in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to present information in meetings as required.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively and tactfully at all organizational levels and across all disciplines.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, fault analysis, and problem solving skills.
  • PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to lead maintenance personnel and to effectively prioritize work loads and apply resources to provide effective manufacturing support.
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability in influencing and leading teams including coaching, identifying training needs, and working with management to address employee performance issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in prioritization of work and crews.
