SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: Position requires advanced skills in maintenance technician. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the day to day tasks of the maintenance & janitorial needs of the building. The position acts as a leader and good role model for the rest of the staff. The Lead Maintenance performs a wide variety of maintenance duties including preventative, emergency, cosmetic and routine maintenance and regular inspections. Nature of work requires emphasis on safe work practices, sustained physical effort, troubleshooting, problem solving, attention to detail, customer service, and time management. - The Maintenance Supervisor, in conjuction with the property manager, oversees the day to day tasks of the entire maintenance team, which may include asigning work orders, inspecting the work performed by vendors and other maintenance staff. Must have a minimum of three years of multifamily apartment maintenance supervisor experience, or at least three years proven experience comparable to a ceritified journeyman level craftsman in one or more building trades. Ability to read, listen, speak, understand and communicate information and ideas in writing and verbally so others will understand. The expectations is this person acts as a leader and good role model for the rest of the maintenance staff. On-site 1-bedroom Unit Included Full Time / On Call position
