Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High school or equivalent degree
  • Must have 5S facilities and manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Must have experience programming PLCs.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently (e.g., lifting multiple 50-pound containers off the assembly line; stacking products on pallets; pulling and packing for shipping).

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and on-demand repairs to maintain the production schedule and ensure each production line operates at maximum efficiency.
  • Own and enhance the PM program and include all new equipment when installed and operational.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance/PM work to be completed.
  • Ensure all PMs are completed according to the schedule.
  • Research materials or equipment as needed; present findings to the Plant Engineer and team for review.
  • Minimize production line downtime.
  • Manage inventory of critical spare parts and work with outside vendors when necessary.
  • Ensure all plant equipment is cleaned at regularly scheduled intervals to maintain proper operation.
  • Identify, document, and correct all safety-related maintenance issues.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment to ensure equipment reliability, optimum performance, and safety.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot and repair plant machinery and equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, paddle mixers, aggregate elevators, liquid fill machines, shrink wrap machines, forklift, and electrical motors)
  • Manage the facility maintenance to ensure the property is kept in clean, working order.
  • Perform other activities, as assigned.
