The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fabrication systems. This role combines hands-on expertise with leadership and project management to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency of all machinery and equipment. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime. Coordinate with the Production Manager to schedule and execute maintenance projects, including equipment relocation, layout optimization, and installations. Supervise and manage the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies. Oversee the installation of wiring and conduit for new and existing equipment, including conveyors and programmable controllers. Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and ensure proper inventory levels for equipment, parts, and supplies. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of plant equipment and machinery. Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance records, including inventory tracking and equipment logs. Promote a safe and clean working environment by adhering to and enforcing company safety policies. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related maintenance goals and supporting production objectives.
