About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising the maintenance and adjustment of all equipment in the processing plant to maximize production and minimize down time; may perform some maintenance as needed. Must be willing to work nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or GED
• 3+ years of supervisor experience in a maintenance roll
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to cold, wet conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 70 lbs
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, or off-shifts as needed

Nice To Haves

• Prior food manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and coach maintenance technicians across assigned shift
• Coordinate with Production, Sanitation, QA, and Operations to minimize downtime and support production schedules
• Enforces safety rules; identifies and corrects safety hazards; trains employees on safe job procedures; investigates accidents and takes corrective action to prevent reoccurrences.
• Coordinates all maintenance activities with department to ensure timely repair and preventative maintenance of processing equipment
• Other jobs or duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
