Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift

About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising the maintenance and adjustment of all equipment in the processing plant to maximize production and minimize down time; may perform some maintenance as needed. Essentials Functions: Supervise, schedule, and coach maintenance technicians across assigned shift Coordinate with Production, Sanitation, QA, and Operations to minimize downtime and support production schedules Enforces safety rules; identifies and corrects safety hazards; trains employees on safe job procedures; investigates accidents and takes corrective action to prevent reoccurrences. Coordinates all maintenance activities with department to ensure timely repair and preventative maintenance of processing equipment, Other jobs or duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

Highschool diploma or GED
3+ years of maintenance experience in food processing or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Manufacturing environment with exposure to cold, wet conditions
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 70 lbs
Availability to work weekends, holidays, or off-shifts as needed

Nice To Haves

Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
