This role oversees and performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, ground, amenities, and common areas of the community meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. The Maintenance Supervisor assists and completes work orders generated from resident requests, performs routine upkeep, oversees the “make-ready” process for vacant apartment homes, develops and maintains standards for the community's appearance, and inspects work performed by other service team members and contractors. The role also involves maintaining inventory, completing preventative maintenance, assisting the Community Manager with budget development for repair and maintenance and capital projects, supporting cost-cutting initiatives, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other safety-related laws. Additionally, the supervisor is expected to demonstrate strong customer service skills by interacting respectfully with residents and team members, and efficiently resolving maintenance complaints and work orders.
