About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the maintenance staff, and any corrective or preventative maintenance procedures within the plant. This role includes supervising and assigning the work of maintenance employees, inspecting work for completeness, and developing and coordinating maintenance personnel by clearly communicating short and long-term maintenance plans. The supervisor will coordinate or install, inspect, repair, and maintain the electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other related systems in the plant. Ensuring equipment and plant availability through effective scheduling of maintenance and repair is crucial, as is compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. The supervisor will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to coordinate all maintenance actions and improve safety and labor efficiencies by providing the proper tools and training. Additionally, the supervisor will utilize various analytical techniques to monitor, measure, and prioritize improvements to process equipment to meet or exceed production goals and quality expectations. Keeping all maintenance reporting and recordkeeping up-to-date is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Supervisory experience and industrial equipment and plant repair technology.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate long and short-range maintenance plans to maintenance personnel and equipment operators.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental procedures.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical Degree in related field and/or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior rendering experience preferred.

  • Utilizes various analytical techniques to monitor, measure, and prioritize improvements to process equipment.
  • Keeps all maintenance reporting and recordkeeping up-to-date.
