The Maintenance Supervisor at Savers / Value Village is responsible for ensuring that all equipment in the Central Processing Center (CPC) is maintained in optimal condition. This includes overseeing the maintenance of conveyor belts, balers, distribution chutes, forklifts, crates, strapping machines, and other machinery. The Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the General Manager of the CPC and will play a crucial role in maintaining a respectful and values-driven workplace. In this position, the Maintenance Supervisor will supervise designated team members, delegating tasks such as clearing jams, cleaning sensors, and performing daily maintenance. The supervisor will conduct daily inspections of equipment, prioritize maintenance tasks, and document any components that show signs of wear. They will also perform routine maintenance tasks as prescribed by manufacturers, including lubrication and cleaning, and will be responsible for minor repairs as needed. The supervisor will maintain logs of all maintenance activities, whether performed internally or by outside vendors, and will coordinate with outside vendors for more complex repairs. The role also involves troubleshooting machinery failures, diagnosing issues, and making emergency repairs when necessary. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure a safe work environment by promoting adherence to safety policies and procedures, and will communicate any safety concerns to the General Manager. Additionally, the supervisor may be involved in janitorial tasks and other facility maintenance duties as required, ensuring that the CPC remains clean and operational.
