This position is primarily responsible to sustain and respond to all mechanical equipment as it pertains to Cirtec Medical to reduce the amount of downtime required for mechanical and software issues that may occur. This will allow the machine utilization to be maximized and improve overall equipment effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in electrical or mechanical field of study or equivalent experience in the manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years of production maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend engineering documentation, prints and/or schematics for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatics.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians in the repair, and preventive maintenance of photolithography, sputtering, and other semiconductor process equipment.
  • Implement, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and software control issues to quickly restore production capability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve process-related equipment problems and identify root causes.
  • Monitor equipment performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, system configurations, and equipment histories in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Coordinate vendor service, parts procurement, and system upgrades as needed.
  • Train and mentor maintenance technicians on proper procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with cleanroom protocols, EHS requirements, and company policies.
  • Support capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvement efforts across the production area.
